This project is a reinterpretation of Na Taeju's I See You Like I See a Flower and Nobuyoshi Araki's BLUE PERIOD/LAST SUMMER, highlighting both contrasts and parallels between the two works. Na’s poetry gently explores the phases of love using a flower as a metaphor for its delicate and fleeting nature. In contrast, Araki’s provocative photography confronts themes of desire, loss, and impermanence with bold intensity. By juxtaposing Na’s subtle reflections with Araki’s raw imagery, the project examines different interpretations of beauty and love, revealing its paradoxical concept.
